Auburn Chiropractic Plan for Pain Relief and Prevention with Exercise

“Do I have to exercise?”

“Only exercise if you want to feel better faster and prevent pain,“ your Auburn chiropractic encourages.

“How much time do I have to spend exercising every day?”

“Not long, just properly,” Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. advises.

Exercise is not every Auburn back pain or neck pain patient’s ’thing’. Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. understands. Exercise is also so important to our back and neck pain patient’s recovery and future prevention of the pain. We are with our Auburn chiropractic patients every step of the way to get the most of the exercise effort so that it results in pain relief and prevention.

OPTIMAL NECK PAIN EXERCISE GUIDES

Neck pain sufferers understand how pain may decrease their neck motion. Such neck pain patients were tested as to their cervical range of motion and pain intensity with a flexion-rotation test. They were then instructed to do a 20-minutes cervical spine exercise session. 50% of them were then also treated with manual therapy applied to the C0-C1 and C2-C3 cervical spine levels. Those who did the exercise program and were treated managed significantly better in terms of range of motion, pain intensity reduction, and the flexion-rotation test. (1) Another study reported that the optimal stretching time of cervical muscles in patients with chronic myofascial pain syndrome was 30 seconds as contrasted with 15 or 60 seconds or no stretching. This permitted the best benefit to pain intensity decrease while minimizing any negative effects on neural function of the involved nerve roots and central nervous system. (2) Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. always emphasizes that the appropriate exercise done in proper form does not have to take long to be effective! Additionally, exercise lays some control in the hands of its sufferer since exercise can be done whenever.

OPTIMAL LOW BACK PAIN EXERCISE GUIDES

Integrating exercise training into the multidisciplinary treatment of non-specific chronic low back pain does make sense. This type of back pain affects so many people around the world and is a primary source of disability. Proper exercise training transitions the back pain sufferer to self-management. Recently, researchers suggested that pain intensity and disability - and even mental health struggles in such back pain patients - were enhanced with options like resistance and aerobic exercise while Pilates, resistance exercise, yoga, and stabilization exercise. (3) Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. agrees! Exercise is invaluable on so many fronts.
