Auburn chiropractic spinal manipulation care is relieving and cost effective.

SPINAL MANIPULATION IS EFFECTIVE AND COST REDUCING FOR SPINE CARE

Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. welcomes all spine pain patients! Spine pain is disconcerting for its sufferers. Auburn chiropractic spinal manipulation helps. Though low back pain is a major cause of disability around the world, its sufferers who experience persistent or recurrent bouts of low back pain find chiropractic maintenance care worthwhile as it is patient-centered care. (1) Neck pain sufferers, too, find help with chiropractic. Neck pain patients who undergo spinal manipulation – 90% of which is delivered by chiropractors in the US – were found to be 2.38 times less likely to need escalated and more expensive care like imaging, injection, emergency room or surgery (just 26%) than patients who were treated with other kinds of care (46%). (2) A new study of Medicare patient claims reports that patients who had decreased access to chiropractic care had an increase in visits (32.3 a year) to primary care physicians for spine pain and an increase in spine surgeries (5.5 a year) costing an extra $114,967 per 1000 Medicare beneficiaries and $391 million nationally. (3) Your Auburn chiropractor is well-qualified in performing spinal manipulation.  Spinal manipulation is and has been advised as first-line treatment for low back pain. Medicare claims’ reviews point out that chiropractors are the majority of healthcare providers for spinal manipulation and that the general supply of spinal manipulation providers is falling. (4) Do not worry! Your hometown, Auburn chiropractor has no intention of not providing pain-relieving spinal manipulation, particularly the gentle, research-supported Cox® Technic style of spinal manipulation.

Listen to this PODCAST with Dr. Kurt Olding on The Back Doctors Podcast with Dr. Michael Johnson as he presents research on the place of spinal manipulation in the Cox® Technic System of Spinal Pain Management for the relief of spinal stenosis, a common spine pain condition in the over-65 age group.

Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C. presents new research on the benefit of adequate B vitamin levels.

Auburn CHIROPRACTIC TIP OF THE MONTH:

Beneficial B Vitamins

B vitamins are beneficial. B12 deficiency is often linked with dementia in patients over 65 years of age. It has also been seen in younger people who have normal B12 levels but their methylmalonic acid (MMA) level is high. Testing the MMA level may be a useful test in patients with symptoms that seem unrelated as in one patient with neuropathy, depression and stomach issues who tested a high level of MMA. (5) Biotin (B7) supplementation is showing potential in the treatment of neuropathic pain and could reduce the necessary doses of analgesic drugs. (6) Riboflavin (B2) in foods and via supplements is renowned for its antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory effects among others. A new study found that B2 to be anti-itch. (7) Are your B levels good? We’ll talk at your next visit!
