Spinal Manipulation Endorsed for Back
Pain…Chiropractors are Experienced
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality 2020 Report states
that spinal manipulation is one of the effective, non-invasive,
non-pharmacological treatments for low back pain relief that improved
function and/or pain for more than a month. (1) Yoga, exercise, psychotherapy,
low-level laser therapy, massage, MBSR, acupuncture were also on
the list. The chiropractic profession has back pain
specialists who competently deliver spinal
manipulation. Chiropractic education focuses on the treatment
of spine pain and delivery of spinal manipulation. Many folks think
of chiropractic for back pain relief. Twenty-two million
Americans visit chiropractors annually. 35% do so
for back pain relief after accidents, sports
injuries, and muscle strains. Neck pain, arm pain, leg pain, and headache

Auburn CHIROPRACTIC TIP OF THE MONTH: Strengthen the Quadratus Lumborum
The quadratus lumborum – a quadrilateral-shaped muscle - is
a paired muscle on both sides of the abdominal
wall. It’s a deep muscle and typically thought
of as a back muscle as it stretches from the 12th rib to
the upper 4 lumbar vertebrae. When
contracted, the quadratus lumborum causes lateral flexion
of the lumbar spine and/or elevation of the pelvis. (5) Various bridge-type exercises are being examined about
the way in which they strengthen the quadratus lumborum’s 2
layers of muscle in order for it to best add to the motor
control of the lumbar pain and stop back pain. (6) Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C.
and you can talk about how your spine may benefit from such
exercise at your next Auburn chiropractic visit to Dr. Le's Chiropractic & Wellness, L.L.C..
